UNIVERSAL Universal Studios So many rides to create wonderful family memories. A host to choose from--Despicable Me, The Simpsons, Transformers, ET, Shrek, The Mummy. Each one is someone's favorite! Daredevils will love Rip Ride Rocket: a roller coaster with a vertical drop. Those who enjoyed reading Harry Potter can immerse themselves in Diagon Alley, visit Ollivander's wand shop and eat at The Leaky Caudron. They can also experience a thrilling ride to visit the vaults of Gringotts bank. Islands of Adventure Thrill seekers will enjoy rides like the Hulk and Spiderman but there is something for all ages. Younger children will enjoy all the Dr Seuss rides like Cat in the Hat and One Fish,Two fish. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter allows you to visit Hogwarts and take part in an exciting Quiddich game riding behind Harry on your own magical broomstick. Children can buy candy at Honeydukes and adults can enjoy a cool Butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks. With a two park ticket you can also ride the Hogwarts Express. The train takes you from one park to the other with some exciting things happening along the way.
SEAWORLD Here the main mission is to help fund the rescue and conservation of sea creatures.Guests learn about numerous animals while having fun. There are shows where trainers interact with dolphins and whales. There are thrilling roller coasters like Kraken and Manta.
BUSCH GARDENS There is a free coach available to takes you from Orlando to Tampa to enjoy this one of a kind theme park. There are huge roller coasters for the daredevils in your group.There is a chance to take a real African Safari and, for a small additional charge, you can get so close to the giraffes they will eat right out of your hand! Add to this a few exciting water rides and you have the recipe for a great day out!
WATER FUN Discovery Cove This park offers an all inclusive price for a superior experience. Food and drinks are available all day. You can laze on the beach or while the hours away wearing your wet suit, watching the rays and colorful fish, as you snorkel in the crystal clear lagoon. Remember to book well in advance as daily entrance numbers are limited.
Aquatica If you enjoy flumes and slides this is the park for you. There is even an opportunity to shoot down a flume with dolphins swimming all around.
Wet and Wild This water park is situated on International Drive. It offers great value and lots of rides where the family can share a raft and enjoy the experience together.
Gator Land Meet some of Florida's native species at this great venue. Watch gator wrestling or be a dare devil and zip line over the swamp! Hold on tight as there are some hungry critters below!
BEACHES Atlantic Coast Great beaches just over an hours drive east of Orlando. Daytona Beach with its pier and board walk amusements is a great place for family fun. New Smyrna offers a quieter locale. There is a beach to drive on and a Breakers offers a great place to eat and enjoy the view. Ponce Inlet has wonderful breakers crashing against the sea wall and is a favorite fishing spot. There is also a lighthouse with lots of steps to climb if you have the energy! Gulf Coast Just driving down here offers you spectacular ocean views. You will see pelicans swooping down for fish and dolphins leaping the waves. There are busy spots like Clearwater, Saint Petes and Sarasota .There are un-spoiled spots like Sanibel and Ann Marie Island where the pace is slow and bicycles are the accepted means of transport. The choice is yours.
NATURAL FLORIDA State Parks Entrance is only a fee dollars per car but these parks are well worth a visit. Blue Springs On the Saint Johns River ,East of Orlando, a great place for a picnic or to watch the manatee.(The St John's river is also a great place to rent a day boat or a house boat for larger groups.) De Leon Springs A natural spring to swim in and paddle boats to ride. There is also an old sugar mill converted to a restaurant. Here you can cook your own delicious pancakes on the hot plate at your table. Just add fresh strawberries and syrup to make a feast fit for a King!
Rodeo Kissimmee used to be cattle country. At certain times of the year the rodeo takes place. Watch the cowboys ride unbroken mustangs and bulls!
Night Life Downtown Disney Here there is free parking. There are some great Disney shopping outlets.Children will love the Lego store and the fantastic models built from those little bricks.They will also want to eat in a dinosaur themed restaurant.For those who like the movies try the Dine-In experience at the AMC theater. You can enjoy your meal and a glass of wine while watching your favorite stars.For the more energetic there is also a bowling alley. City Walk Situated between the two Universal theme parks. There are bars like Margaritaville and Clubs where you can dance the night away.There is also mini golf and a multi screen cinema. Blue Man Group This very original entertainment is to be found in City Walk close to the entrance to Universal. It is done in mime with a lot of music and is fun for all the family. Old Town Kissimmee In the heart of Kissimmee purchasing a wristband will allow your children to ride a huge amount of rides and enjoy all the fun of the fair from the ferris wheel to the go karts. There are also restaurants and bars for mum and dad.
DINNER SHOWS Medieval Times Enjoy you meal as you watch your Knight joust in a thrilling tournament. Will your team win ?
